I'm sorry, but this is so boreing.

Lost between rolling-up your D&D character with fancy ten-sided dies and tilting the pinball machine as far as you can.

It's computer programming 101 to construct a matrix to align the plus and minus percentages of the various attributes to provide the greatest possible advantage for a specified gameplay style.

Real characters; fictitious characters -- you really can't match either kind no matter how you construct the tables and charts.

Its just playing the game..

some people have preferences, and what you chose really effect the game play style. Perhaps play with different choices and you would see.

Generalissimo
Military Coup
Administrator
Patriot
Pompous
Paranoid

Except for the administrator trait, I chose this build for the fun of it. I just like being an narcissistic, military dictator.

RE: Post your favorite dictator
Well since I don't want to make another topic to talk about my dictator build here is a couple of mine.

Juan Portos

Juan Portos was the son of a wealthy building firm in Europe shortly after the war ended, helping rebuild much of the infrastructure in both sides of the Curtain but was always a by the numbers Objectivist (Elected by Capitalists), some say that he could literally raise buildings from almost out of nothing due to his particular skill in getting things going (Administrator) and his financial acumen ment he could build a small town with few resources (Finanical Genius), sadly he is known to cut costs (Cheapskate) and has been known to be under the influence when building stuff.

Mr. Edward Smoker

As far as he known his life. He spent most of his life in the plantations of Virginia, growing tobacco with his family and his smoking habits made him a notorious sight for smart people (Farmer), when he left for the Caribbean for a source of new found wealth which was the Tobacco trade, he rallied together the disgruntled farmers to overthrow the local Fruitas branch and established himself as governor of the Island (Communist Rebellion). Despite his previous alienation with the Intellectuals in the past he is known to be quite well versed in botancy (Scholary and Green Thumb), however years of Tobacco use makes his teeth less than pretty and his laid back attitude makes it difficult to get things done (Ugly and Lazy).

Tim Taxton

A factory Mogul, he was known from his humble origins where he often lived with his family when they were working in the sweat shops, helping out whenever he could (self made man), this gave him an objectivist view of the world and was elected for similar reasons (Capitalist election). During his work as a factory mogul he is known to be well versed in industrial work and connections everywhere (Diplomatic), however, he is also was known for a corruption scandal (Kelptomaniac) and gambling away his earnings (Gambler)

My favorite build is "Random". Except when the program chooses Moronic as one of my flaws. Not being able to build a college is ROUGH.

I agree. I don't know why would anyone want to pick "moronic" flaw ( except to make game more challenging ofc ) "Ugly" has much smaller penalties.

It is doable in theory if you are a factory economic centric island, the Wind Turbine offers a source of free electricity and while not economical you can stick a wind turbine next to a factory. It is fine if you are making an industry/banana republic but synergize terribly with oil baron.
