So guys, Tropico 4 is out now, guess we can start discussing improvements for Tropico 5.

Go over to the Tropico 4 forums.

T4 was released in the UK back on August 26th. It should be released in stores in the US tomorrow (8/30/11) & it should be released to digital download sites (Steam, D2Drive, etc) on September 1st.

my idea is to have the game trains, rails, tunnels, bridges, tunnels, highways to two lanes + emergency lane

How about an option to adjust scroll speed of the mouse on the map. Oh and make it playable for an average computer made in 2012 and not an average computer made in 2016.

I always thought that this would be cool:
Maybe make a campaign map for conquering other Caribbean Islands... (aka add human started war) also make a battle command screen like in Empire Total War (Would have to be adapted to modern day) also make it maybe a first person screen for El Presidente, any Citizen, and Soldiers in Battle... Now, that would cost a lot but, it would be the first of it's kind of game... Also they should go back to Cold War Era... One last thing... Maybe, instead of being El Presidente, you could choose to be a rebel leader...

I would love the ability to put down plazas and different textures, more trees and gardens, different fountains, parking lots (tired of only using garages), more variety of trees being planted and not only always having the colorful trees, actually having a Luxury Liner be active and not just at anchor, possibly more customization for building colors... Just to name a few. Bottom line: I just wish "Modern Times" was more modern :/

Good Idea, but the buildings are far too less for my taste. Needs more conflict with rebels, such as your army can now have armor vehicle in action or a attack heli. When 'Modern Times' was out, I thought that the army would have a more modern look as times goes by. Also, the population cap is ridiculous for just having a 1500 population cap which I hope in Tropico 5, we can see further improvement.

"1, option to invade another island can be interesting, but this game can become a war RTS!
2, More detailed work control. For example: tobacco can go to export or cigar factory; cannery can process fish, pineapple, coffee; the worker from construction house can go to a site nearby or very far away. We NEED to control how they are appointed!
3, upgradable buildings. I really like auto-upgrading style in SimCity, or we can make the upgrading manual. For example a basic country house should be able to upgrade to comfort house, even mansion! A basic construction office should be able to upgrade to have better looking and more efficient team!"

give it a good idea, but I have some ideas:
-you can build the restricted areas, borders should be of wire fences
-you can build a second palace
-you can build tunnels that connects the palace with the ministry but also with military bases and armory but the second palace
- All buildings and decorations of the DLC packs to be included in Tropico 5 without having to be downland
- To be more statues to you
-you can build military airport, port Military
-to be in some islands: your country, but a foreign country
-to be in game gansteri and mobs that control parts of the country and Tropico, and you can fight them releasing country
- You can go to war against other islands and countries
-in game to be other super powers
-the game there and the war against drugs and mafia

Hello everyone

Already a year has passed since Tropico 4 came out and here are some ideas for Tropico 5:

It seems to me that the game is very well as this but would be good some modifications for the Tropico 5

- I like that in the game options you can disable disasters in the campaign mode also I would like to see you more variety of buildings or residential houses and fewer farms some farms engaged in trade or export only and a few farms only dedicated to the power of the island and a good option would be to export waste to eliminate the island environmental pollution and less trash containers obviously to export waste there will be that pay any cost something that I also like in the game that there was real as the island of CUBA Islands to be the game more realistic.

- For tourists more attractions like roller coaster rides horses some gyms
And bars or discos
