Hi all,

Just wanted to try this game because I like management sims and enjoyed the little team control there was in GRiD.

However I've had the game lockup many times, requiring an end task. It was semi random, only happening at times when I changed sections (from Research to Staff etc.). Now that I've gotten a feel for the game and gotten to the first race it locks ever time I try to go into that first race training session. I've not been able to get into it at all. I have installed the 1.3 patch as well as the 2.8 mod (BTW, what devs make an official patch that is just a zip and we have to manually copy the files over? come on).

Anyway I saw someone mention something about a 'vista thing' and I am running Vista. So if anyone has any info on this lockup it would be helpful.

Annoyed rant below, don't read if you don't care.

To be honest the game looks pretty bad from everything I've seen so far but I'm bored with other stuff so might as well try it out. However I have to say, actually releasing this game as anything but a free game is a joke. Maybe if was some 5-6 year old junk game I could look past it but not something put out last year. Not to mention there are so many obvious simple errors have to wonder if Kalypso did any proper testing. Should be criminal to charge for a game that's still in poor shape after 3 patches.
