T4 system requirements
Tropico 3 worked just fine on my computer with a mix of low and medium settings. Will the Tropico 4 requirements change much ? Will I be able to run it on my computer ?

T4 only looks like a t3 expansion. nothing more. Not surprised if the requirement will be the same.

RE: T4 system requirements
it may run on the same engine but certain improvements may change other wise. itll probably run but not the same as tropico 3. i would assume maybe a low, if god loves you ull prob be able to pull of the occasional medium. but expect slight lag. im not a pc tropican but im a good guesstimater.

The requirements will be the same, more or less. But because the game will come out in august it is to early now to say final system requirements.

I've heard this multiple times now I don't think it's the case at all. Given that there are multiple new features, a larger campaign (new maps/scenarios), 20 new buildings, the game-changing new additions of appointed ministers, import/export pricing and dynamic disasters and damage...this is hardly just a T3 expansion.

I think what you may be referring to (which "admin" just confirmed) is that T4 is using the same engine, which is fine by me considering A) it's a gorgeous game and B) it'll make is easier for all of us, like Che here, to play it on our current rigs.

Point is there's a ton of new stuff in T4 and it'll use an existing, excellent game engine to make it all happen. So don't be hatin' and keep a lookout for some other undoubtedly cool content to be revealed by the devs as we get closer to Aug.

RE: T4 system requirements
It's not "hatin" it, it's some of the flaws of the game, will continue to be present with the same engine. Now IF they modify that engine for better performance, traffic, etc...then i would call it Tropico 4.
