A pedant's plea.
Ugh, I hope you people do a better grammar job in Tropico 4, if nothing else. I can spot at least 2-3 mistakes in nearly every mission description in Tropico 3. It's made worse by the mildly pleasant headache I get from the Tropico 3 recycled music.

Pilgrim Heaven:
"...is a humble island with little natural resources". NO, it's "few". What are you teaching our children?

If I wasn't a pedant though, I'd say your grammar/spelling is not that bad -- still, it's not perfect, and I expect perfect on a 4th iteration. Also: I would like an edict that lets us import modern foreign cars. Wink

Edit: Oh, yeah. I fast-tracked through your teaser trailer. Please don't forget to make disasters optional instead of randomly-occurring / scripted. It could be a cool effect and all, but not everyone likes a huge un-buildable volcano popping up in the middle of their island to completely mess up their little slice of paradise and force the player to re-do the whole structure of the town.

Edit 2: Face it: this isn't an FPS. Few players of sims like Tropico care about showing their scenario completion badges or achievement badges on Facebook or Twitter, but no doubt they would love to show off screenshots of their beautiful towns and/or numbers relating to how well the economy runs.

Edit 3: Ok, one more... please don't add a function for the middle mouse button click-and-hold that can't be replicated with keyboard keys -- I find myself struggling to click-and-hold the middle mouse button much without hand (finger) strain, especially on Microsoft mice. Ugh.

LOL

Oh my friend, you are lucky there is an English version at all -- even without grammar. Take up German if you wish to know what is going on. Some of the Bulgarian developers bragged about how good their command of English is. The early development time was marked by guess-a-lot.

There are people who aren't interested in competition "gongs" for facebook and twitter? You're kidding! Most people would rather go without clothes than without a 'phone to twitter on.

It's really not that bad, but there are a few embarrassing/funny ones. I just found another one: "ordnance" instead of "ordinance" throughout the game... these guys are all right on balance. They make a lot of fun sims.

You inadvertently caught me in an implied double-negative. I changed that... anyway, I don't know what the fuss is about phones, or clothes for that matter. I just wear rags.

i'm not into the "brains not required" twitter thing, nor the virus ad, predator heaven, facebook.

Would have been far better if it was REALLY a page on the Tropico homepage instead.

Well social media is all the rage these days so you can hardly fault the devs for tapping into that.

However I do hope the same, that we see a more vibrant community and support spring up on the website, forums and especially the challenges/any new multiplayer components added!

George W. Bush: "A dictatorship would be a heck of a lot easier, there's no question about it." El Presidente agrees. Cool
