i have been to the gate, and talked to the guards, but i cant get back to the gate to get de glue and poster?? I tryed everything, Ican see the poster and the glue but i cant click them !!

PLEASE HELP!! BTW: i did install the PATCH!!

isnt there anyone who can help me? is there someway i can adjust the game settings? tried already differend screensizes, please help, I love this game but i am affraid it ends here for me.......sniff

I had some trouble here.

When walking with Ceville and Lilly together, Ceville says he doesn't have a disguise yet. This led me to think you can't go down to the gate, but when he says this control actually switches to just Lilly, letting you walk her to pick up the glue and poster.

No that is not the problem, lily goes to the gate, talks to the guards and goes back to ceville. they talk and ceville says he needs a disquise, so far so good, but after that, I cant switch between them, they stick together like ...glue??

I have a similiar problem. My characters won't walk towards the gate. I can click wherever I want, but Lilly simply doesn't move. After a lot of clicking she eventually said to Ceville that she should go alone, but she doesn't move an inch...

There are more people with this problem on the German forum and there the people from Kalypso first replied that it was a problem with the video card, but other people with better cards also had the problem, so that wasn't it. After this, they just stopped replying! I also posted a message there, but I would really like to continue playing!

How can I play any further?

My 2 cents,

I have Ceville installed on my laptop and tbh it does run slowly but is completely playable. I have encountered this problem at the city gate and i decided to install the game on my main PC, that has a much better graphics card to work around the problem by copying the saving games across from one to another - which worked so i guess its some sort of graphics issue.

The bottom line is, if you got access to a better PC this work around may be a option. The actual problem as I see it is that with a 'poorer' graphics card for whatever reason, you cant click on the floor 'in-game' to navigate each level - only the objects/interactables - so this is where the problem is.

I'm not a computer 'Whizz' so im not sure, but this sounds like the sort of thing that normally gets sorted in a patch - which would be nice because the problems cropped again in the game im playing, and i cant be bothered to copy the save games across the main PC etc AGAIN and AGAIN..... so I'm gonna put this game in the cupboard til it gets fixed/or not, beacuse i dont like playing adventure games on the desktop pc (not going into that !! )

We are currently looking into the issue, but it seems to be related to an incompatible graphics adapter and/or driver.

If you're using an Intel Mobile chipset, you can try the driver update utility from their website:

I had the same problem and did a bit of research. The problem with my computer (have Intel Chipset) is that I don't have any version of Shader installed.
I solved it installing Swiftshader (just google for it). It does make the game a bit slow and the graphics sometimes get a bit funny but it is still completly playable. To improve the performance I'm also using Game Booster fron IObit.

Glad to be of help, it is very frustating to get stuck in a game Actually it was some information posted in the german forum that led me to the rigth track.
And I also would like to say that the game is fantastic, I'm really enjoying it and ... congratulations to everybody envolved in it.
Another tip: GPU Caps Viewer gives all the information about what's in or not in one's graphic card, that's how I found that mine has no shaders.

I am really struggling with the Glue and wanted poster glitch. I tried the swiftshader thing, but I'm not sure I downloaded/installed it correctly. In any case, I still can't get the glue or poster. I really feel like I wasted my money on this game purchase. The time alone I've taken to try to make it work is infuriating. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
