You can play local coop multiplayer via splitscreen on one console, though.

Thanks, that's a lot better than no local multiplayer, BUT it makes my 2nd tv and 2nd xbox lonely ;( Please keep it in mind for next time, there are a LOT of people that enjoy system link!
