Screen Resolution
Good day to all. Help me please.
The game starts by default with resolution 1600x1200 (the maximum that my video card supports), but my monitor has 1024x768 max.
What can I do to see the screen?
Thank you.

RE: Screen Resolution
Hm, ... strange. Can you try to reset the options by trying this:

Go to the folder: "C:\Users\*you username*\AppData\Roaming\The First Templar" and delete the file "DeveloperStorage.lua".

If that doesn't work, the best thing would be to write an e-mail to the tech-support and ask if they can send you a config file that is preconfigured to your specs. Also send them a dxdiag, as they will ask for it anyway and name the game in the subject line Smile

I'm also having the same problem. If I delete the 'DeveloperStorage.lua' file and launch the game it again starts in 1600x1200 resolution and creates another 'DeveloperStorage.lua' file. Is there any way to modify the 'DeveloperStorage.lua' file to change the resolution manually?

Ok, in this case it is likely that the game does not recognize the system's settings correctly. Please drop an e-mail to the tech support (write the game title in the subject line!) refering to this thred and ask for a modified 'DeveloperStorage.lua' file.
Replace the original file with the one they will send you.

RE: Screen Resolution
Well I solved the problem. I borrowed a neighbors monitor which supported 1600x1200 and started the game and changed the resolution from 1600x1200 to 1024x768 from options menu. Now I'm playing the game fine Smile Seems like the default monitor driver for Windows 7 x64 was the culprit. It does not detect my monitor properly. As my monitor is about 8 years old no Windows 7 compatible driver is available for it now Sad

Dear friend! Could you say me in which order I must push buttons on my keyboard to change resolution without seeing anything on my screen?

Sure, each time you press buttons (up, down, left, right, enter, escape) you will hear a clicking sound. the sequence to get into 'video' under 'options' after starting the game is: down, down, down, enter, down, enter. Now keep pressing left until the clicking sound stops which means you have selected the lowest possible resolution. Then press enter to confirm that resolution. I think you will know what do from there Smile
