XBOX 360 gameplay limitations
Assuming that there's no bugs (please God) and ignoring future patches and addons, can someone (developer/publisher) point out any (if any) gameplay/content differences between the XBox version and the PC version (and advertised features) that may be present in Tropico 4?

(PC/Simulation fan boys need not post)

the only difference will most likely be, population limits, screen size, and graphical look. (better gear on high end comps)

thats all that was differnt on T3, outside of the PC got the expansion with bonus buildings, and missions.

so far the main feature i am aware the 360 wont be getting is the social networking link. Where users can post things to their profile and things like that. Also, in relation to the post above; i wouldnt worry about 'graphical looks' because from the clips i've seen from PC gameplay of Tropico 3, it really doesn't look that much better from the 360 version that i had.

I certainly haven't got any reservations about the graphics, the last game looked great. More worried about the inclusion of larger islands, and presumably a bigger population limit.

Tropico 3 certainly did start to chug a bit when it got towards 500.

im not saying it will look bad.. Its just not up to par with a next generation vid card running at super high resolution, The highest your gonna get on an X-box is 1080 i think, I know i run this game at 1600, but im guessing next gen vid cards and the game might support up to 2200? and might use DX-11, which is another upgrade.

i never thought about the larger islands, i havn't heard any news on that it may only be PC. but other features they seem to have said that its only on PC and they annouced larger islands without mentining anything about differences between platforms. So for now i assume we'll be getting larger islands too. they may have made some improvements to the popualtion limit too, after all 500 is pretty small. i guess there will be no way of knowing until its released.

But to be honest, i will just be happy if its released and i can play and save my games lol. I'm sure they've fixed that.

I guess not, seeing as those in the know haven't posted as requested. The fact that they make an appearance in other threads makes me a little concerned.

I think i share your concern. I hope the 360 isn't left behind, in terms of island and population size. I think they did a realy good job of making Tropico 3 on the 360; excluding the obvious issues. But if the 360 doesn't get the larger islands, larger populations or the facebook/twitter links then i think it really will be left behind by a large margin. The facebook thing doesn't bother me much, but the islands and populations do.

Facebook/Twitter integration is PC only, that's been stated, I've got no problem with that but no other differences have been announced so that's what we should expect.
