$50 not enough for workers?

$50 not enough for workers?
lately i have been getting workers leaving all work places quite often.
Boosting the wage doesn't seem to do anything as when i eventually reach $50 p/h or p/m whatever it is, the workers still leave.

This has only happened the last 2-3 games? Can anyone tell me what i could be doing wrong?

Soon as the slider only goes to 50 it is rather annoying Sad

I guess job quality is too low. You can increase job quality by high wages ( obviously that's not enough ),buying upgrades ( only some buildings ). You can try placing a lot of decorations around factory- also helps.

You dont have enough people on the island. All workers will try to get the highest educated jobs. Set the immergration office to "open", that should allow uneducated workers to the island.
And having the pay that high, your island will loose money. I would suggest the average caribbean pay that is in the almanac.

I usually build a second dock. I'm pretty sure that will speed up immigration.

Immigration office set to open doors speeds up immigration. I'm unaware if an extra dock has any measurable effect other than another export drop off point.

I used to have this problem until I stopped building churches. It's rare that I allow a priest on the island. Immigration will solve this too but what fun is that? I like to let at least one faction know who is the boss.

a second dock, should bring in more ships, which gives the chance for more immigrants, But thats not your islands problem.

Are any of these games you have these problems with anywhere near the end? can you win the senario? (if these are senarios) if soo, Just post your island online, Let us check it out. Im sure we can give you exact answeres on where your problems are..

There is more then pay going on, there is housing, entertainment, food quality, and religion in there. And of course edicts and upgrades.
If there is nothing to spend those high wages on ?

Make sure everyone is close to everything they need, including work. Keep distance to minimal.
Build casinos, tv,radio for Tropicans , movie theaters etc.

By year 10 I'm building Ferris wheels and other stuff just for my loyal subjects.

There has to be something really wrong for max pay workers to leave.

Got high schools and colleges ? Maybe they leave because of no education...?

Is there any complaint listed ?

Just throwing stuff out there...
